Harvesting Inspiration

A fun family outing brought a bounty of creativity. Captivated by the organic shapes of twisted branches and the play of sunlight across ripe apples I was inspired to take the beauty of the moment back to the studio to explore all in oil pastels. The soft focus and muted texture of the medium and monochromatic pallet highlight the simple beauty of this celebrated fruit and form.
